(PRWEB) August 17, 2007 -- California-based pet website Planet-Pets.com will debut the first in a series of online videos produced for pet lovers on August 15th, 2007. The professionally produced video series, dubbed Planet-Pets TV, will offer a new pet-related entertainment video each month. The series will encompass funny, light-hearted fare as well as touching human-interest stories from the pet world. It will also include interviews, instructional videos and breaking news stories.
The video series, created by award-winning media producer Daniel Wolfert, is designed to bring the Internet pet world "alive" and to offer fun, entertaining content to the site's visitors.
"The Internet world is quickly moving to online video and when you visit a static website, it looks a little ho-hum without moving media that communicates with the visitors. As more and more websites begin their eventual move to video, we hope to be at the forefront of this revolution, at least for the pet industry" Wolfert said.
The first installment of the Planet-Pets TV online video series will be featured on video sharing websites such as YouTube, Metacafe and MySpace, but subscribers to "The Scoop", Planet-Pets.com's free e-mail newsletter will receive the very first views of this entertaining series.
